Mid-Con EOR

Mid-Continent

Our Mid-Continent asset includes properties located in Western Oklahoma and Eastern New Mexico.  These properties produce from the Morrow, Council Grove, and Tubb formations and primarily consist of the Postle Field and the Northeast Hardesty Unit, both located in Texas County, Oklahoma.

The Postle Field has been undergoing carbon dioxide miscible flooding since 1995.  Carbon dioxide for this area’s enhanced oil recovery operations is sourced from the Bravo Dome Field in Eastern New Mexico.  Maverick owns a collection of facilities and carbon dioxide transportation pipelines that deliver product from New Mexico to the Postle and Northeast Hardesty Fields.  In addition, Maverick is the sole owner of the Dry Trails gas plant located at the Postle Field complex.
